Overview

Dyslexia Ease is the public website of EaseRead, a browser extension designed to make text-heavy pages easier and calmer to read.

EaseRead does not require account creation and does not sell user data.

What EaseRead stores

The extension stores reading preferences locally in the browser, including text size, line spacing, letter spacing, content width, preset selection, focus mode, and whether the extension is enabled for a site.

What EaseRead reads

On pages where the user enables the extension, EaseRead reads page structure and content locally in the browser so it can adjust layout, spacing, width, and focus behavior.

EaseRead may also read the current page URL or hostname locally in order to manage per-site enable or disable behavior.

What EaseRead does not do

  • It does not create user accounts.
  • It does not sell user data.
  • It does not use browsing activity for advertising.
  • It does not inject third-party advertising.
  • It does not collect payment information.
